Aeroplane peel off birthday card

Here is a nice little card I made for my daughter to give to her stepdad.

I stuck the peel off aeroplane onto black cardstock and carefully cut it out. I attached it to a Spellbinder die cut fancy rectangle with sticky pads to give it some depth then decorated it with a clear rhinestone on each corner.

I cut out one of the shapes from the Spellbinders Blossom Tags and Accents set in silver foil card and used a smaller matching die for the sentiment. I stamped the sentiment with clear stamp pad and embossed it with silver embossing powder. I finished it off with two gunmetal flatback pearls.

The backing paper was some crinkley silver paper from my stash and the black tartan strip was from Papermania Capsule black collection.

Magnolia Football Edwin

Here is my latest creation, a male card. It was hard to tear myself away from the pink and purple frills and flowers but this is what I came up with!!

I coloured my Magnolia Football Edwin stamp with promarkers. It was a bit of a challenge as he is the first boy I had coloured and not wearing a dress, but I was really pleased with how it came out.

I used 'Broken China' distress ink around the edges of the stamp and hand painted the grass.

I finished it off with four little star embellishments.

The Main part of the card was finished off with a couple of buttons and some blue ribbon. I made the rosette with a Spellbinders lacy border joined at both ends and sandwiched between a small Sizzix circle die at the back and a larger one at the front. I stamped the large circle with a sentiment and embossed it in silver embossing powder.

The papers where a selection from my local craft store.

Magnolia Tilda with Hawaiian Flower

Today I have made another Magnolia Tilda Birthday Card. She is from the Magnolia Tilda Butterfly Dreams collection called 'Tilda with Hawaiian Flower'.

The background paper is from Cardmaker's Icy Rainbow Creative Pack and the background is a Music background stamp from Hobbycraft, stamped on white cardstock.

I used two sizes of Spellbinders floral ovals, the largest is coloured with Tim Holtz Distress ink ' Dusty Concord' and the smaller oval is edged with glitter.
Tilda is coloured with Promarkers.

I die cut the flowers from Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms, they are also coloured with
Dusty Corcorde distress ink. The leaves are  FOLIAGE Leaves
Shapeabilities coloured with Forest Green distress ink.

I used a piece of purple backing card and embossed some flowers
on to some white cardstock.

I painted the Cheery Lynn Butterfly dies with Cosmic
Shimmer Mica Powder and finished them off with
a flatback pearl on each one.
